Vegetable Crackers with Chilli, Garlic & Ginger
Tension in this box is understandable. Three contenders vie for superemacy. Hot and spiteful chillies think they’ve got it taped. Charming chilled ginger and mellow aromatic pan-roasted garlic have a hand on the belt too.
Will the battle be settled in the first mouthful? Sneaky chillies…always throw the last punch!
Try not to gobble them, share them nicely, with a glass of wine… or two!
– Simply munch with slices of good old fashioned cheddar or warm yourself up on a winter’s evening, munching these and glugging down with an ice cold beer!
-These chilli biscuits are good on their own or dip into some mango chutney and finely chopped fresh apple.
-Use instead of Papadom as a starter with a curry.
-Use as part of a dish with a curry chutney or pickle
-Pair with hummus, charcuterie, pate and game terrine, vegetable spreads, yoghurt dips, fresh soft cheeses. Just about anything you fancy really!
-Serve on a cheese board with soft young runny cheeses, naughty demanding blues, good old-aged cheddar and a silly pointy knife. Five very good reasons to get the port out.
